Soon enough i will have three computers. I would like a way to harness the computing power of all three and direct it to 1 which would be using vista and run vista software/games. Is there a software that i could install in all 3 computers and make 1 host. And then connect them with a usb cable to each other. Should be possible, its very logical.
I want all three to share ram, cpu, and gpu to max extent possible.
I want a supercomputer made out of a cluster of three normal pcs in my house, sort of cloud computing i guess.
How can i do it.
Also, can linux computer run windows softwares/games/etc.

They wont combine powers like Vultron or power rangers amigo…
but they can work together like a chinese sweatshop
If your truly intent on birthing skynet….
you should specialize each computer for a task and have one of the three reap the benifits
for instance… perhaps load the one with the most powerful stats..with your games, and plug that one into the biggest television you have and stereo etc
perhaps use another one as a media server… collecting all your songs and videos..in addition set it up to be a DVR so it grabs all your shows as well… even build a dvd library on it.. make this media accessible on any computer
and just leave this box running so it can just get fat with stuff to watch and listen to and give it alot of disc space!
finally use your third computer for actual computer related tasks such as web browsing and video editing etc…but give it the added feature of setting up redundancy/back ups for important just cant loose data

make sure you can watch and listen to anything on any of your computers via the gaming pc and you my friend have a media center extender

you can also delegate tasks to the pc that is alawys on such as regulate your lights alarm system or heating / air conditioning if your into that stuff
