How do you upload website with images to a hosting site?

Okay, so, for my class I have to create a web page with Word 2010. The web page I created has two images. I uploaded my html file to free hosting cloud, it works fine. But the images are broken. How do you fix this?
I know you shouldn’t use this program to make a website.. but I have no choice.

You can upload images to ftp. Then you need coding the file to your website file. But most of free hosting added banner ads on the website hosted there. They can delete data any time which is risky . So I dont like free hosting. You can buy cheap web hosting from HostZilla Inc which offers unlimited bandwidth transfer, unlimited addon domains, unlimited e-mail accounts.,unlimited ftp accounts, unlimited sql databases etc.

I would like to know which hosting provides free (or at minimum bid), unlimited space and bandwidth features. I would like to you install owncloud software on it. It should also have PHP server. It would be nice that terms of that hostings allows for file storage.

I suggest you try Inmotion Hosting. They offer more than enough webspace and bandwidth. It also has full php support and allows file storage.

I assume you mean cloud hosting…

cloud hosting is basically a large group of computers all connecting and sharing your data and instantaneously scaling up or down depending o the demand from the user. So in hosting, the computers hosting your website would combine their resources to handle higher than normal needs during certain times.

dedicated server is when you basically lease a computer that is somewhere else, to host your website on. That "somewhere else" has computer admins, backup systems in place and security protocols to protect your data.

not sure what domain name customer base is, but a domain name is the actual name of your website in .com .net .org etc.. format. yahoo.com is a domain name. google.com is a domain name.
When you type in google.com into your address bar, your computer interacts with a NameServer (godaddy for instance) and this Name Server gives your computer the IP address associated with that domain name that you typed into the address bar. This makes it easier to get around the web, otherwise you would have to remember the IP address of every website you ever go to.

free synchronization, backup and storage on the internet?

Most of the free ones give you 2-5GBs of free online storage.

There are some other providers but so far, 10GBs is the largest. The other say they provider more for free but a lot of them are on trial basis afterwhich you have to upgrade and pay.

Does anyone know if hostgator is better than pancake.io, and why?

everyone says hostgator does the trick but is not free. Pancake.io is rumored to host a website in the cloud, and it is free. I’m thinking perhaps advertising is involved.

Pancake.io does not support any of the standard files of a website (no .html, .htm, .php, .asp, etc) nor does it support database driven websites. All it does is display simple .txt files (with its own markup language) as html web pages.

Conclusion:
Hostgator is a real web host for simple or advanced websites.
Pancake.io is a filehost that also allows you to publish textfiles on the web.

-If you want a real website, go with Hostgator.
-If you want to simply publish a few sentences, you could use Pancake.io for that, however I would probably use a service like blogspot.com for that.
-Use Pancake.io if you want to store pictures, word- or powerpoint files.
